What is a level probe?

The level probe is a robust sensor for conductive level detection.

Equipped with electrode rods made from high-quality materials selected to suit the medium, it reliably signals the presence of one or more defined switching points.

As a manufacturer, we can configure a single probe with up to seven electrodes to monitor six distinct levels. With no moving parts, the probe operates entirely wear-free and requires no maintenance.

1. Wide range of materials compatible with any medium:

  • Housing: Depending on the application, we manufacture the probe housings from food-grade plastic (PPH), premium stainless steel (V2A), or highly chemical-resistant Teflon (PTFE).

  • Electrodes: Manufactured from corrosion-resistant V4A stainless steel as standard. For demanding media, electrodes are also available in titanium, Hastelloy, or with application-specific coatings.

2. Custom configuration for any installation location:

  • Precisely defined electrode lengths: Each electrode is manufactured to your exact specifications – with millimeter precision from 5 mm to 4000 mm.

  • Customizable number of electrodes: A single probe can be fitted with up to 7 electrodes to define up to 6 distinct switching points.

  • Flexible connection options: We supply the probe with an application-specific cable – pre-assembled to your required length – or with a range of connector options.

  • Custom designs: We also provide customized housings and special mechanical interfaces such as flanges or angled electrodes for complex installation requirements.

To help reduce costs and ensure a smooth installation process for your level sensor, we recommend specifying the exact electrode length during ordering.

This allows for optimal handling and integration, eliminating the need for time-consuming adjustments after delivery.
